The Bays boys golf team finished third with a team score of 320 at the OHSAA Sectional Golf tournament held at Forest Hills Golf Course.
The Rockets finished the regular season with a record of 13-2 and will now play next Tuesday at the Windmill Lakes Golf Course in Ravenna, Ohio for the District Tournament for the third straight year.
Junior Jack Eifel shot the low round of the tournament with a par 70. Senior John Urwin shot a 79. Others scoring for Bay were senior Jake Wochna (85), junior Andrew Cooper (86) and junior Scotty Guether (87).
The Rockets are coached by Rick Manderine.
Buckeye finished first with at team score of 315. Lutheran West was second with a team score of 319. Other local schools were Firelands in 8th place with 348, Vermilion in 12th with 363, Wellington in 14th with 366, Keystone in 16th with 382.
